Sheltered Gotts Cove opens onto Sheepscot Bay.  A turn to the South leads to the protected waters around Five Island and then, for the adventurous, the possibility of a paddle to Harmon's Harbor and Reid State Park.  To the North, there are paddles around MacMahon Island (with a secluded picnic beach on the north end), to the Osprey Restaurant for lunch and an exploration of the quiet waters of Robinhood Cove.
